First of all, call me a real amateur movie-buff. Then you will understand why this post is gonna end this suck. So, if you expect to have a deep analysis and review, you�ll probably just have to skip this one. Haha. Anyway. Oscars was just held. It�s a climax for all movie enthusiasts and filmmakers all around the globe, including me. I feel like I wanna share my (shallow) thought about this so-called the biggest movie award in the planet (and knowing that I haven�t posted anything for the past week is kinda pushing me to, at least, write something :P). Do I feel pleased with the results of this award?

F. Scott Fitzgerald �s classic novel, �The Great Gatsby� , has been taken into a vibrant, grotesque movie by the hand of Baz Luhrmann . And I never expected that such classic story was also adapted for a 3D movie, which at first I thought would be just too much. Critics seem don�t like it, because their reviews on this movie was mixed. I think I�m gonna be against them: I love this movie (but I don�t really like Luhrmann�s style), maybe because of the fact that I haven�t either read the novel or watch the previous movie. This is a saddening, sorrowful story of The Great Jay Gatsby , despite of its glamorous package. read more �

Next is acting performances. Don't get me wrong: I don't mix these 20 outstanding actors and actresses altogether; I made 4 categories with 5 actors or actresses in each category. And as I made this list, I realized that... my list is kind of anti-mainstream. That does not mean that I haven't watched the movies whose stars are nominated in global awards like Globes, BAFTAs, Oscars, and all. It's just that my personal taste doesn't make me think that they are good enough. read more �

Happy 3rd anniversary, Me On The Movie! For a child, year three is the last year before he enters kindergarten or such, but for a blog, year three is the year every blogger's consistency is tested. I won't fill this incredible year with another ramble of how my (useless) daily activity has got me away from watching and writing about movies (because you already had that in the 2nd anniversary), I haven't even blogged for like three months (!), so to make today worth for an anniversary celebration, I make a list of my favorite movies of all time�establishing a clear stand that Me On The Movie is still exist, even though so rarely updated. read more �
