This is the "next post" I meant in my review on "Killer Joe". So here's the story. Last Thursday I finally got a day-off (since I got no classes in that day), so I went to the cinemas. Actually there's no movies I eagerly wanted to see, but I just felt like I wanna go watching two movies in that day. Yes, two movies. I picked "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" and "Killer Joe". I checked the showtimes via internet, and because I feel it's kinda boring to watch two movies in the same cinema, so I went to two different cinemas to watch these two movies. Haha.

F. Scott Fitzgerald �s classic novel, �The Great Gatsby� , has been taken into a vibrant, grotesque movie by the hand of Baz Luhrmann . And I never expected that such classic story was also adapted for a 3D movie, which at first I thought would be just too much. Critics seem don�t like it, because their reviews on this movie was mixed. I think I�m gonna be against them: I love this movie (but I don�t really like Luhrmann�s style), maybe because of the fact that I haven�t either read the novel or watch the previous movie. This is a saddening, sorrowful story of The Great Jay Gatsby , despite of its glamorous package. read more �

Next is acting performances. Don't get me wrong: I don't mix these 20 outstanding actors and actresses altogether; I made 4 categories with 5 actors or actresses in each category. And as I made this list, I realized that... my list is kind of anti-mainstream. That does not mean that I haven't watched the movies whose stars are nominated in global awards like Globes, BAFTAs, Oscars, and all.
