I have never known Roger Ebert before I entered the world of movie-blogging. And to be honest, among other modern movie critics, he is not my most favorite critic. (My fave? James Berardinelli from ReelViews. It�s not a lame choice, isn�t it?) But no man has ever win a Pulitzer Prize for film criticism before Roger Ebert and that is among other reasons to make him special. LIFE ITSELF captures the life of Roger Ebert, from the beginning of his career until the day he passed away.

F. Scott Fitzgerald �s classic novel, �The Great Gatsby� , has been taken into a vibrant, grotesque movie by the hand of Baz Luhrmann . And I never expected that such classic story was also adapted for a 3D movie, which at first I thought would be just too much. Critics seem don�t like it, because their reviews on this movie was mixed. I think I�m gonna be against them: I love this movie (but I don�t really like Luhrmann�s style), maybe because of the fact that I haven�t either read the novel or watch the previous movie. This is a saddening, sorrowful story of The Great Jay Gatsby , despite of its glamorous package. read more �

Next is acting performances. Don't get me wrong: I don't mix these 20 outstanding actors and actresses altogether; I made 4 categories with 5 actors or actresses in each category. And as I made this list, I realized that... my list is kind of anti-mainstream. That does not mean that I haven't watched the movies whose stars are nominated in global awards like Globes, BAFTAs, Oscars, and all.
